SIG (Special Interest Groups) MEETINGS

If you are interested in forming a SIG, contact webnet@berkeley.edu about announcing it.

SIG: EDIT (Web Editors/Designers) Brownbag Lunches
The Web Editor's (WEBEDITSIG) brownbag lunch is the special interest group for UC Berkeley web editors and designers — meet other web folk over lunch and share ideas, best practices and more! We sometimes choose subjects to focus on, but we always leave time for discussion of whatever else is on our minds. If you have comments, questions, or ideas about campus websites, join us.

Our group is growing in numbers and strength as those of us involved in managing web sites grapple with issues such as home page design, designing for various browsers, keeping up with search engines, solving Dreamweaver woes, conducting usability testing and a myriad of other issues large and small (and, as we all know, it's often the smallest that seems the largest).

Date: Fall 2008 (Date TBD)
Time: noon - 1:00 PM
Place: Madrone (East) room in MLK Student Union. This room is in the ASUC Student Union in Sproul Plaza (Telegraph x Bancroft), on the 4th floor.

Bring your lunch...

Hope you can make it...
